Production on this rather wonderful Ford Shelby GT 350 Fastback came to completion on the 25th March 1968, before being shipped to the Ford dealer in Troy, New York. This is an authentic, legendary Shelby with a 302ci V8 4-barrel carburettor engine. This one came out of a private Ford collection. In the recent past it was thoroughly mechanically overhauled and fully restored. The restoration is absolutely of the highest quality. The fine bodywork has straight and excellently aligned body panels. Both the interior trim and engine bay are as good as new. The Shelby Registry shows the whole car history. The 350, with the then newly introduced 302 V8 engine, was the most popular Shelby ever. 1,253 Fastback versions were produced. This car has the original ‘Lime Gold Metallic’ finish in combination with a ‘Black Vinyl/ Black Knitted Vinyl Luxury Interior’. The Shelby has been completely restored according to factory spec. This is an unique opportunity to own this rare Shelby! It is ready to show at any old-timer event or just to simply enjoy.
